Mopey ("we", "us") is a to-do list and focus timer for iPhone. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. In short: we collect only what the app needs to work, we don't sell your data, and we don't show ads or track you across other apps.
You can use Mopey without signing in. Your tasks, focus history, buddies and Cookie Coins are then stored only on your iPhone. If you send feedback without an account, we receive your message, the app version and your device model.
Signing in is optional. It backs up your progress and keeps it in step across your devices. When you sign in we store:
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple. We never see your payment card. We receive a record of your subscription (plan, dates and status) through RevenueCat, the service that manages subscriptions for us, so we can unlock Mopey Pro on your account.
We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.
These companies process data on our behalf, only to provide their service to Mopey:
We keep your account data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your account and the data linked to it are permanently deleted from our database. Subscription records we're required to keep for accounting may be retained in anonymised form.
Mopey isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Data is encrypted in transit, sign-in details are stored in your iPhone's Keychain, and access to your data on our servers is restricted to your own account and our small support team.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app.
